Undergraduate Scholarship Endowments
For Students Majoring in Mathematical Sciences
Eighty percent of admitted Rice students receive some form of financial assistance. Endowed scholarship support is one of the pillars of the Rice undergraduate experience, allowing the university to attract and retain the most talented students.
In 2000, Lynn Laverty Elsenhans, a 1978 Rice graduate, and her husband, John, also a Rice alumnus, established the Lynn Laverty Elsenhans Scholarship for students majoring in the mathematical sciences.
