I got tired of living on the road and dealing with the corporate rat-race. So, I quit work in August, 2001 (early retirement .... lol) and enrolled in the PhD program in mathematics at Auburn University to see if my brain would still work. After dusting off my neurons, I applied to various graduate programs and chose to attend Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Academics

I completed my PhD at Rice University in the Computation and Applied Mathematics Department studying Computational Neuroscience in Nov., 2005. (current research notes).
