Image registration methods for high resolution images.
Recent work includes incorporating compressible flow into traditional image
registration methods, development of an efficient, parallelizable image
registration algorithm suitable for 4D computed tomography images of human lungs,
extension of differential equation (i.e. optical flow) based image registration methods
to the case of large pixel displacements, and dynamic ventilation imaging
from 4D computed tomography via image registration.
