Research Interests
My research focuses on the theoretical development and implementation of
numerical methods for image processing, including methods for high resolution
three dimensional deformable image registration (DIR) and designing validation techniques
for DIR in the context of thoracic computed tomography. This work involves the
numerical solution of partial differential equations, large scale optimization,
and parallel/GPU computing. Additionally, I am interested in developing methods for
unstructured point cloud processing, such as surface normal estimation and segmentation.
