Welcome to my homepage! I am a VIGRE postdoc in the Computational
and Applied Mathematics (CAAM) department at Rice University. I
received my Masters (2008) and
PhD (2010) in applied mathematics from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. My thesis work focused on the development of an
efficient, continuum-microscopic method of modeling complex structures,
such as the cell cytoskeleton. In general I am interested in
multiscale modeling, biomechanics, computational cell biology, and
scientific computing.
