Hello! My name is Marco Enriquez and I am was a doctoral candidate in the Computational and Applied Mathematics Department (CAAM) at Rice University. I completed my dissertation under the guidance of Dr. William Symes, founder of The Rice Inversion Project (TRIP). I obtained my Bachelor's degree at Tufts University in Computer Engineering and Mathematics. I am currently employed at MITRE CAASD.

My research focused on software engineering and adaptive time-stepping for simulation-driven optimization problems. I researched both theoretical and computational aspects of such problems. For more specific details and results, please visit the Research section.

While at Rice, I mentored high school students through the Worthing-Rice Apprenticeship Program (WRAP). I was also a dragonboat paddler for the Houston Heat.
