Hello! My name is Marco Enriquez and I am a doctoral candidate in the Computational and Applied Mathematics Department (CAAM) at Rice University. I work under the guidance of Dr. William Symes, founder of The Rice Inversion Project (TRIP). I obtained my Bachelor's degree at Tufts University in Computer Engineering and Mathematics.
My research focus lies in software engineering and adaptive time-stepping for simulation-driven optimization problems. I am currently researching both theoretical and computational aspects of such problems. For more specific details and some recent results, please visit the Research section.
Extracurricularly, I mentor high school students through the Worthing-Rice Apprenticeship Program (WRAP). I am also a dragonboat paddler for the Houston Heat.
