BIO

Having been born and raised in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, I can honestly say that I do enjoy the warm weather that Houston has to offer. I am the eldest in my family and am a second generation immigrant.

I graduated from Harlingen South High School in 2004 with several honors. I then continued my education at The University of Texas- Pan American (UTPA), where I earned my bachelor's degree in both Mathematics and Computer Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

I am currently second year student Rice University and am enjoying every day that I am here. Our department provides us with an environment to face new and interesting challenges, and working alongside so many great faculty members is very reassuring when tackling these challenges.
