Education

2007-2009

PhD candidate in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University. My work combines calcium based fluorescence data with computational algorithms to reconstruct ionic channel distributions in rat hippocampal neurons. This is joint work with Dr. Peter Saggau's group at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX) and Dr. Steven Cox's group at Rice University (Houston, TX).

2005-2007

MA in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University. I used differential equations to model phage lambda gene expression levels during different life cycle phases.

2000-2005

BA in Biochemistry from Rice University
