I am a PhD student in Computational And Applied Mathematics at Rice University  working  with Dr. Tim Warburton . I feel fortunate to be working with him. In these days working with him, I have learned, how simple strategies can make a huge difference in the efficiencies of a computer program. My research includes the analysis of efficient solution techniques of high order discontinuous Galerkin methods for nonlinear wave propagations on modern many core computing architectures.

Our research group at Rice is “Rice Advanced SCALable Simulation group”, in short the “RASCALS”. As a group we strive to develop algorithms for very large scale simulations and hence focus on efficient techniques both mathematical and computational.
