July 2009: Aycil Cesmelioglu presents her work at the SIAM Annual conference. She is fully supported by AWM.

May 2009: Aycil Cesmelioglu, Prince Chidyagwai and Sevtap Ozisik are participants in the Adaptive Finite Element Methods for Partial Differential Equations workshop at Texas A&M University.

April 2009: Aycil Cesmelioglu is fully supported by IMA to attend the IMA Special Workshop Career Options for Women in Mathematical Sciences, Minnesota.

February 2009: Prince Chidyagwai is the recipient of a SIAM travel award to attend the SIAM Geosciences conference in Germany, June 2009.

February 2009: Aycil Cesmelioglu is the recipient of an AWM travel award to participate in the AWM workshop at the SIAM Annual Meeting, Denver, July 2009.
