• Finite Element Circus meets twice a year. Speakers present both theory and applications of the finite element method in a very informal and friendly setting. The first FEM Circus was in 1970.
• SIAM Conference on Analysis of Partial Differential Equations in Miami: Dec 7-9 2009
• SIAM Annual in Pittsburgh: July 12-16 2010
• Finite Element Rodeo meets once a year. The first FEM Rodeo was in 2002. The format follows closely the FEM Circus format.
