Occam's Razor: From among competing hypotheses,
selecting the one that makes the fewest new assumptions usually
provides the correct one, and that the simplest explanation will be the
most plausible until evidence is presented to prove it false.
Welcome to my homepage! I am
currently a graduate student of the
department of computational and applied mathematics at Rice University.
I work under the supervision of Dr. Wotao Yin, and my research focuses
on developing efficient algorithms for structured optimization problems
including compressed sensing, low-rank matrix recovery and nonnegative
tensor factorizations.
I received a bacheler degree from the Dept. of
Math at Nanjing University, China, in June 2007.
From Sep. 2007 to July 2010, I
studied and worked on operations research in AMSS of CAS,
China. In July 2010, I got a master degree of management
science.
