The flexibility of our undergraduate degrees open doors to unlimited career possibilities in oil and gas, finance, medical and more.
Our majors in computational and applied mathematics or operations research provide rigorous mathematical foundations, data science, modeling and computational skills. They serve as strong backgrounds for a variety of quantitative careers in fields such as consulting, data science, logistics, finance, and engineering.
Many students would benefit from a richer foundation in applied mathematics than is obliged by the basic requirements of their major. To encourage such students to further their studies, we have an undergraduate minor in computational and applied mathematics.
